10/20 Deadline for Cellphone "Do-not-call" list

I got this from Dick McCarthy at Richard Gray's Power Company.

I called and registered my number with them. It didn't sound like a scam.

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS. It takes about 20 seconds.

I put in my cell a long time ago when I did my home phone.
If you haven't done it yet there is no need to wait, the only calls I get is from companies I already do business with, charities & politicians.

So while it doesn't hurt to do this, there is not deadline, and telemarketers are already prohibitied from calling cellphone numbers with automatic dialers.
