"JJ" my new foster Golden Retriever

Check out JJ!!!

He is a new foster puppy staying at our house until he finds a permenant home. He is 1 year old and FULL of energy. With bribes of treats, he has quickly learned "sit" and "down" in about a day. Not bad for 1 year old. He is also giving Jack the Dog a run for his money during the day. He actually jumps RIGHT over Jack who is 79 pounds and 2.5 years old.

He looks like their might be some Collie in him, nose is a little long for a pure bred Golden. Cute though! We used to board dogs for the local animal refuge... They made a rule that you couldn't adopt any dog you boarded. wise rule on there part or we would have had dozens... I still wish we had kept this HUGE sheppard named Josh that was one of the smartest dogs and so cool...

Oh no, Jerry is in the dog savin' business. A worth while cause but a slippery slope. I now have three dogs because of it. He's cute though.

Good for you guys and lucky JJ. It's great to see people supporting their local SPCA and rescue groups. As the owner of two Danes and a husky mix (as well as two cats) I too support my SPCA and

Re: "JJ" my new foster Golden Retriever
Glad to see I'm not the only one with a home full of animals.

My wife is an animal lover to the nth degree.

Our zoo currently is comprised of:

2 Weimeraners (Ruger and Grady)
4 cat (Lucy, Otis, Puff and purple cat - PC for short)
2 house rabbits (Bunn and Butter cup)
1 Chinchilla (Rocky)
1 Guinea pig (Coconut)

I swore I wouldn't let her break into double digits - but obviously I failed. Here are a few pics for your enjoyment!
