Confuse to buy TV
 

Want to buy 42'' Plasma TV. But I am confuse between these two model. May you help me? Both the models are mentions bellow.\
1.Panasonic 42" Plasma TH-42PX80U,
2 LG Model: 42PC5D

Any other suggestion regarding to TV would be greatly appreciate.

Between those two I would go for the Panny. Panasonic seems to have better ratings overall than LG.

I don't know what price you have found, but the Panasonic VIERA G10 Series TC-P42G10 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV from amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-VIER...9291450&sr=8-1) would be a better choice, imo.

Are thePZ800U series Plasma TV'S from Panasonic better than the G 10,which are sold at a lower price I believe.Are the G 10 series the latest release from Panasonic.

Not exactly the info on the specific models I asked for,but thanks just the same.By the way,it seems that I have never seen a good TV station picture from any LCD or Plasma TV sets displayed in the stores,but when a DVD movie is shown,it looks great.As you probably have guessed it by now,I own neither an LCD or Plasma TV yet.Forgive my ignorance,but is this normal.Are TV signals just not up to par yet with the HD part of these new TV'S,or are the old regular TV'S superior to the plasma and LCD TV'S in that aspect.Just wondering.Did I miss something.
