audio software
I would like to record vocals and change my voice into male and need to do more experiments in my PC. So I need a good audio editing software, thanks for any help or comfort any one can offer.

Re: audio software
While I can't say this will modify the pitch of a voice I've used Audicity, a free audio editor (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/). Another option if you use a Mac is Ardour2 (http://ardour.org/). I've used these for doing home recordings of my electronic drums as well for manipulating MP3's and other audio files on my computer.

Re: audio software
I have used Audio Editor Pro and Cool Edit. Cool Edit had an algorithm to alter the pitch that I used to change the key of tracks. Tracks were used by a singer for live performances. He needed a lower key for when his throat was sore from colds or fatigue. The last version I had was CoolEdit2000. I see now it is Adobe Audition.
