X-Files: I Want To Believe

I went to see this last night, and I think this is possibly the worst movie I have seen this summer - it's right up there with The Happening. No aliens, and no real story that required much thought. Also, this movie seemed to have some sort of political agenda to promote stem cell research/use while also showing the possible dark side of its use - Frankensteining parts on people. This movie was a huge disappointment for me because I have always been an X-Files fan. I wanted my money back on this one.

It pains me to hear that! I was a die hard X-Files fan and though the first movie did a great job wrapping up the show, despite what you say I'll still have to see it, either on Blu-ray or in the theaters, but now I won't rush to it!

Wait until you can Netflix them both, an do a double-feature-dud night!
They are not worth wasting your money on buying.

I liked the first one, and if you WERE an X-Files fan, it tied up MANY loose ends of the show, I certainly wouldn't call it a dud, mediocre maybe, but I liked it.

I meant double feature with The Happening and this new X-Files movie.
I liked the first X-Files movie too. I bought it when it came out on dvd which is why I was so disappointed with this new one.

I missed the Happening reference, and movie for that matter!
