Honda vs. Mercedes
 

Well, I took both my cars to the shop this week.

My Honda Element SC needed an oil change, air filters, inspection and new gauges (recall work) while me MB CLK 55 Cab needed, oh, the same thing!

Honda didn't give me a loaner car and the total was $146, I didn't need an appointment and it was done in a day.

Mercedes did give me a new 2008 ML 350 4-matic, but the bill was $446, oh and it took a day.

I am over the high end car thing! I love my Element and am likely not buying an other expensive car until I can truly afford it (ie for a Ferrari not care when you put it into the wall on the track knowing full well it is not insured!)

For now, I am happy with my brave little toaster of an Element!

If you are annoyed with the maintenance bill for the MB, you will hate the Ferrari bill!

Yeah, I was looking to get a used 550 until I saw the 15,000 mile maintenance, it was like $18K!

Apparently the gauges have an issue with the needles falling off, mine said only that I owned a 2007 Element that was in need of this, maybe yours was later and they already fixed it...

While I really love my Toaster their is something about 380 horses with the top down that is just not duplicated in the Element...
