Default Jumper

I went and saw Jumper this weekend. Good idea for a movie, but for some reason it reminded me of the older Sliders series. Seemed like they could have had a better plot. . . the story moved along kind of slow.

Obviously, Meridian was a sponsor or had some influence due to all the Meridian gear in the main character's apartment.

Really, well that is a first. I can`t remember seeing any high end gear in a movie. Normally you see the Sub Zero refrig, Thermador of Jenn Air cooktup, Kitchen Aid discwasher. That is cool.

I may have to go, just to see the Meridian electronics. Could you see what the units were?

I used to love Sliders! I some how missed the final episode though and despite being told what happened several times never can seem to remember how it ended!

As a teenager I had a thing for the girl on the show... cute in a sort of nerdy way..

It looked like his whole system was Meridian from processor to speakers.

FWIW I watched American Psycho the other day and Christian Bale had the EQ I used to own in it, and a full HK system, pre, amp, Cassette deck, and the EQ8. I had that thing for like 10 years and it still worked fine.

I also seem to forget how it ended. It was the show that made Jerry O'Connell's career.

I remember Kari Wuhrer that came on a bit later in the show as the pretty one.

Is that who you are talking about? She was on the mtv game show Remote Control, if you can remember that one.
