Well I bought mine at Best Buy not the "Pear" store so a return shouldn't be a problem.
I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Just got back from BB & exchanged the 16G for a 32G with no problems.
The same could not be said for a couple of friends of mine, one had an 8G iPhone & a 16G iTouch & the other had the iTouch & 2 iPhones.
They got theirs at the Apple store & were charge a 10% restocking fee!!

Apple really knows how to tick off their customers!

I was thinking something else....

Somehow in updating my laptop to Leopard it lost me as an administrator.....

HA HA. . . I can only laugh because that happened to me too on my laptop with the leopard install. . . it was also a problematic install on my dual G5 tower. . . it went really smooth on the iMac G5 though. . .

Did you have to format the drive and start from scratch or is there a fix?

It's just my laptop, so I could start over but if I don't have to that would be nice!

No. You do not need to format the hard drive. There is a simple fix to get admin rights back. I had one of my apple guru friends help me with it. I need to ask him again what we did and post it for you.
