I agree... My photo does not show either. The avatar option only allows deletion....

Looks like you have to be one of the chose few to get your avatar or photo to display in the forums. argh....

I am also aggravated by the ads that appear on the right side of the message window. These obscure the text of the post they are placed in. Quote:

As a test, register as a new user. Then, validate it as a new NON-ADMIN NON-Moderator account following the procedure used for this purpose. When this is done, login using the account and upload a picture (successful) and try to use it for your posts (unsuccessful), or try to select an avatar (unsuccessful).
