I honestly give it about a 20% chance.

The House of Mouse is putting a lot of pressure along with Warners for them to come up with a solution.

Otherwise those two are going to come up with one of their own. Warners may go exclusive to HD DVD. I'd put that at about a 40% chance right now. Disney may go neutral. I'd put that at about 70%.

Sony is either going to cough up cash to stop Warners from going exclusive (and remain neutral) or cough up cash and keep Disney exclusive. I don't see Toshiba/MS coughing up cash to battle Sony over Warners. I think they'll keep that cash to make sure Disney isn't bought by Sony again (no they didn't receive advertising money, they received a ludicrous price for BD50).

It was pretty funny that the official BDA website pointed to www.thelookandsoundofperfect.com for about 6 hours. I don't really think it was anything but a hacker. It was just a hacker with a good sense of humor.

It would be great if one format rules, especially if its HD DVD. But, it seems like we need a miracle at CES for that to happen.

Well don't HD DVDs come with two formats? HD and regular DVD. That would make me think that for now more people are buying HD DVDs because they can watch them on different players.
