I know. I know - Jerry, you shop in Beverly Hills you deserve EVERYTHING you get.
I just have to say.... I went to buy my wife a new wallet to match a bag I bought for her last year at Hermes. The matching is as much as the damn bag. $1850 for a wallet? Are you kidding? I don't care how much money you have - that is insane.... KennyT will assault me for this. Bring it on. j

Jerry,
First, its Christmas, and to me, the definition of a present is something you want but would never buy for yourself as it's either too expensive or you just don't really 'need' it or both. If the wallet will make her happy, buy it, she'll likely love showing off the matching combo as much as you like showing off your system.... FWIW I went to buy my wife new wheels for her bike prio to her next half ironman race in May and instead dropped ~$5K on a new Cervelo P3C Tri-Bike for her! It's hiding in the attic now waiting for that big bow and Christmas morning.... Oh, I almost forgot, I bought her the pink speedplay pedals for it as well! As a breast cancer survivor, she's kind of partial to pink! .... bet you didn't see this reply coming did you??? DO remember, I have a slight shopping problem!

She wouldn't be happy with an $1850 wallet.
I will back to pounding the streets of Rodeo Drive later today looking for other things that are better ideas.... j

I don't know, I don't see it as that bad, the wallet i carry cost me $450, and guys wallets are nothing compared to women's... besides, isn't <$2K on Rodeo drive to be considered inexpensive??

Normally, the locals get preferential treatment on Rodeo. Maybe not so much at Christmas but they know who you are in the stores.
Note: there are like 30,000 residents in BH at night and 300,000 during the day. Those people spend a lot of money in the stores and know how to get taken care of. The stores need them in many ways more than the people need the stores. j

Jerry,
FWIW my wife's eyes lit up like a five year olds when she woke up and saw the new tri-bike under the tree! It was worth every penny to see that!
