Got a new Laptop but ordered it online to avoid the crowds.
HP DV9610US 17" laptop I've been shopping for a laptop for a while & when this one went on sale for $699 ($875 regular price) I went ahead & ordered it. Purchased the new Panasonic DMP-BD30 Blu-Ray Player. Fantastic unit. I also purchased a dozen favorite movies on Blu-Ray. This really shows off my Panasonic HDTV and what it can do. I can't believe I waited this long to get real 1080P source material.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the new player! Once you go native 1080p there's no going back! As for me, I refused to go out on that day, well I think I went and got some stone crab, but that was it.....

I haven't posted the photos of my system yet - I getting everything straight (good camera and screen shots)! But what I've bought is something old and something new. I bought a Panasonic PT-AE700 and I love it. I also purchased a Blu-ray player (Model DH-4O1S-11) for my HTPC - price hit the sweet spot of $185.00 (told you - if I could find a sub $200 Blu-ray - I would buy it). Don't care who wins now - even if it's downloadable content - I'm ready !!!!!
