Dear AVRev.com readers,
I have been doing a bit of reading on a number of "lifestyle" oriented products from music servers, to wireless technology and everything in between. One company that has peaked my interest is Bang & Olufsen as they seem to have taken a simplistic "lifestyle" approach to their new product line. Their new speakers feature active digital room correction at the touch of a button as well as wireless music playback. Their CD players all feature internal hard drives so they can be used as music servers. Not to mention, their whole home audio distribution solutions as well as digital amplification not unlike my Bel Canto reference amplifiers. This type of approach and technology interests me. Does it interest you? Let me know.

Bang & Olufsen has always been an innovator and done things differently then most audio companies I know. I`m interested in any company that is looking to make our audio and video future brighter, better, and easier too fit in our life styles.
Having the CD players function as music servers also, is smart and looking towards what is now and in the future. Though I do not want to move to this downloading age for various reasons (believe it or not, I like having physical media) Hopefully you plan to get review samples. These products seem ready for prime time. |

I spoke with B&O this morning and they are putting their best foot forward for a review system for me to evaluate what's what. From what they laid out, on paper, the system seems poised for greatness but time will tell if they can run with the big dogs of HD and home integration. I for one am excited to see what the system can do. I'll keep you posted.

Sounds excellent Andrew. That should provide loads of fun for you. Man, how blessed are you that you can review all this exciting and new gear. Mcintosh, Bel Canto, B & O, you are definitely on a roll.
