Moose,

FWIW I ripped all my discs as AIFF (I'm a MAC guy) as hard drive space is dirt cheap, then you can always have iTunes compress the library to whatever you want later down the road.

DO keep backups....

Well I deleted everything & started over.
With only 16G on my iTouch I decided to do ACC at 320kbps, I can get plenty on there at that rate & it's almost 3X what it originally was (128kbps).
I guess I'll get a 160G iPod to have enough room to store everything lossless.

It is a PIA though having to rip everything again though!
Oh well it's a learning process & I just learned something!

This iPod thing is kinda neat!
I ordered a Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X891 yesterday for my truck, it's going to be nice to have all my tunes without having to carry all my CD's!!

Well the X891 (an 07 model) is no more!
So I'll be getting an 08 model Kenwood Excelon KDC-X991 instead!
It'll be installed Tuesday & I'll get to play around with a JL Gotham while it's being installed!
