United Record Pressing Plant Tour

While touring the South Eastern United States, I was lucky enough to be in Nashville, Tennessee, and to attend a personal tour of the United Record Pressing Plant - one of three remaining LP pressing plants in the United States, and one of the very oldest American Plants still in operation.

This plant has a library in the basement of each and every record stamper and project they have ever worked on!!! Included are the original releases of Elvis, The Beatles, and Motown. WOW!!!

What is really amazing is that many records are being sold today with an accompanying free digital download - so you get the best of both.

So kenny, have you finally decided which turntable you are going to purchase, and what cartridge? Sounds like I need to take a trip to this record plant!!
