Having issues PC to Audio

I’m trying to hook my PC to my stereo using a converter from Audio Jack to RCA cable. The problem I’m having is I’m getting a lot of back ground noise, load humming.

I have 2 different types of this converter and both are the same.

And


My sound card does not support any other type of out puts. Is there a better way to hook this up?

Is there a USB to RCA. I have seen the USB 5.1 or 7.1 but they too are the Audio jacks out puts and don’t want to buy something else and have the same issue.

I have looked at other sound cards that have the 4 to 6 channels with the 4-5 colored input/outputs, but I don’t know what I need to hook that to my receiver. It is an older model and only has RCA Jacks for input.

Those look good for what you are doing. Maybe get a better sound card.

update: I have got it to work with no feed back/humming sound (by switching out to a thicker set of RCA cables, and using the smaller converter without cable), but now when I try to switch it to the Video source from my cable box I get the humming sound from that now. BUT if I unhook the PC it goes a way. The cable from the cable box is a set of 50' RCA's and the wire is very thin so I wounder if that is my issue.
