Well it turns out the flash stick is a bust so far. It is formatted FAT32 and the HD files are too large. If I can't find a method to get the drive formatted NTFS, it's not going to work.

Update. I found this http://www.ntfs.com/quest22.htm link which has the information to reformat the flash drive to NTFS. Copied "Nixon" on to it at 13 GB and it played fine.

First, welcome to the forum. When you say LIVE HD, this is live video not recorded HD video? Rather than showing examples maybe telling us some technical details would be nice. Resolution, bit rates needed, computer requirements, etc.

Hello
LIVE HD is live video but I am streaming pre recorded aswell in HD format. The technology is simple: I am using a broadcasting software which allows me to set the bitrate (from 100 to 960), up to 60 frames per second and at least 200kbs for upload speed. As for the computer requirements here is a recommendation: -Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or higher or -Windows Vista (any) -Intel Pentium® 3 or compatible processor; 933MHz or higher; (minimum) -Intel Pentium® 4 or compatible processor; 3GHz or higher; (recommended) -256MB RAM minimum; 1GB recommended -40MB hard disk space -1024 x 768 Screen Resolution with 32 bit Color Quality -Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtime version 9.0c -Microsoft DirectShow-compatible video capture device(see below) -High-speed internet connection -Guaranteed upload bandwidth recommended +More powerful computer configuration may be needed to encode in HD resolutions Also BlinkoTV is the solution I have installed for broadcasting. |

Not so much interested in the upload speed you used but am interested in what speed internet connection I might need to receive and display HD on my monitor. Also interested in what the resolution of the source you send is.
Also as far as live video. You have a camera that ends up streaming HD in real time with live people? What is the content? It is beginning to sound like you are trying to promote a video hosting website similar in function to youtube and asking permission to post a link. Is that what this is all about? |
