My bad I missed that you were approved for two rooms and two diferent systems. Still it's good to know that you can pool resources into one system that can do both.

Kenny, how are the 809s compared to the 802s?

The timber is virtually identical as they use the same tweeters and midranges, the 809 adds the woofers and as such has a lot more bass, which is as tight and controlled as the rest of the sound. FWIW I think Canton might overestimate the frequency response of their speakers.... Even the 809's benefit from a sub. I'd love to try the Ref 1's but alas even I have my limits.....

I thought I'd mention that PSB has in-wall speakers that are really musical and are priced aggressively like most of their gear.

Martin Logan makes an in-wall called "The Ticket," which is good too. Their $2k in-walls are exceptional but I forget their name...
