This thread is for owners of Revel Speakers (and those who hope to be someday).

I am still waiting to go to a full Revel Ultima2 system, Salons for fronts, Voice Center and Studios for surrounds.... Just need to stop buying other toys to do it!

I am a Revel Speaker owner now but I haven't hooked them up yet.
Fires and work have kept me from having the time. I have Salon2's and a voice center speaker.

Jerry,
I hope you are OK with the fires close by and all, let me know what you think of the Salon2's prior to me purchasing them! KT

I am going to need some time to listen to them with no EQ then I will have Hodas come do his thing.
I like their height vs. the Wilsons. I like the ID of the Wilson's better. I wonder which ones will play louder? j

First and foremost Jerry, and sorry for not mentioning it before. Are you and your wife okay as far as the fires go. Obviously, you have not been told to leave your home. I know president Bush is supposed to be coming out that way today.
The Revels. These are speakers that I`ve always wanted to own, from the first time I saw the older Salon`s. All reviews of these speakers have been quite exceptional. You definitely have to let us know how they sound. Have no information on this at all, but for some reason I think the Revels will play louder. I do not know which speaker is more efficient, but that is the feeling I get. |
