These are so-called "bookshelf" speakers, but I suspect that most folks place them on stands.
Anyone using these (or other high-end bookshelf speakers) actually placed on a shelf within a media unit?
I know this isn't the best placement for optimum sound quality, but this is my only option.
I'm wondering what sort of sound quality I can expect with this type of placement.
I'm guessing that a front port is ideal for placement on a shelf.
