I have vintage Electro-Voice (I think) Sentry Speakers. I have enjoyed them since the early 80's but they are huge cabinet speakers and I am tired of them taking up so much space in my living room. I have a rotel RA-870BX amplifier and RT 830BA receiver. I only use them for listening to music (if I want to watch a movie I go to the threatre) and want to replace them with something (no more than $1,000) that will sound the same without taking up so much room. I listen to rock, alternative music really loud at times. I would appreciate any help with what to replace them with and how much it would cost and if there is any value in trying to sell these speakers and what they would be worth. They sound virtually the same as when they were bought. Thanks in advance for any help.
