XT—or X-Tractrix—engineering takes this time-proven philosophy to new levels by altering the surface geometry of the tweeter, which equalizes the speed of sound waves from the horn and smoothes the dispersion pattern. This design moves us even farther ahead, resulting in extremely smooth response and constant directivity.

In order to maintain an even transition between drivers, the VF-35 employs high-definition, precision-voiced crossovers for tighter tolerance and higher accuracy—in other words, a “front and center” soundstage.

Looking as good as it sounds, the VF-35 features a slimming and stylish black MDF cabinet with a furniture-grade wood veneer top cap. You’ll also find the cabinet is internally braced so it won’t vibrate, giving you tight, natural bass. The speaker’s removable top grille lets you open up the rich, high tones, while the sleek, durable fixed grille at the bottom protects the woofers from damage.
