Technical Questions about Speaker

Hi every body

I have some questions about speakers and sound system . I believe that you have the answers .

1-In specifications of speakers , there are many kinds of rated power like ( RMS , PEAK , CONTINUOUS , PROGRAM , MUSIC , AES ) . What is the different between these kinds ? and how I use them in my sound system ?


2-What is better , if I connect every two speakers with one two channel amp , that’s mean if I need many speakers I need also many amplifiers in the control room . Or connect many speakers in parallel then connect them in the power amp .?

3-Some speakers has ( input & output ) for connecting . If I connect many speakers 4 ohms in that way do I get 4 ohms in the total ?
like ( 4 Ω + 4 Ω + 4 Ω + 4 Ω = 4 Ω ) !
