David Wiener Ventures Appoints New National and International Sales Managers

David Wiener Ventures (DWV), an internationally acclaimed design house developing exclusive products under the DWV and Ferrari brands, has announced the appointments of James H. Wellnitz as National Sales Manager, responsible for domestic distribution, and Steven D. French as International Sales Manager

James H. Wellnitz

James Wellnitz is a highly respected audio/video industry leader with three decades experience in organizing and managing sales personnel, independent sales representatives, resellers and distributors. He has a proven track record of exceeding sales forecasts and increasing distribution in both strong and weak economies. Steve French is an accomplished professional with extensive leadership experience in both the automotive and audio industries. His expertise extends to sales management, market analysis, and strategic product planning for automotive products and consumer goods in national and international markets.

“We’re pleased to have both James and Steve join the team at David Wiener Ventures,” said Managing Partner Robin Sibucao. “James’ profile as a successful industry leader with solid relationships in the luxury audio/video sector, in addition to his extensive sales, marketing and management experience, is exactly what the company needs to spearhead our U.S. sales effort.

“Steven combines a similarly exceptional background with significant experience in international markets and a passion for automotive sports, including F1 racing, and high-performance audio,” continued Mr. Sibucao. “His new position will strengthen our ability to internationally market a continuing series of exciting products and technologies.”

Steven D. French

Prior to joining DWV, Mr. Wellnitz served as Executive Vice President for NeoVision, Inc., where he handled all aspects of sales for large commercial LED video displays. In previous positions, he served as President of Accurate Imaging Technologies, Inc., and as President and CEO of Vidikron, Inc, both manufacturing and marketing companies specializing in high-end consumer electronics products. Earlier, Mr. Wellnitz served in executive and senior positions with Pulsar Video Corp., Runco Video Corp., Proton Corp., Kloss Corp. and Advent Corp., where he worked with legendary audio engineer Henry Kloss.

Mr. French, prior to joining DWV, served as Sales Manager for BSA Automotive, Inc., providing marketing management for a Malaysian-based alloy wheel manufacturer. Earlier, he served as General Manager for OZ Wheels, and as National Sales Manager for UHP Tires, a product segment of Toyo Tires USA Corp. Mr. French has also served at Philips Corp., where he helped launch the company’s high-end audio and car audio products, and as Marketing Manager of the Alpine car audio division of the Sintronics Company in his native South Africa.
