Paradigm Signature S8 v2 Review

I just read this awesome review on the Paradigm Signature S8 v2's and it's making my mouth water. I was pretty much set on the Paradigm Studio Reference speakers for my home theater; the 100 v4's, the cc690 and the adp590's

In order for me to get the similar size speakers in the Signature line, it would cost me twice as much if not more. For example, the C5 Signature center speaker lists for $3300 compared to the cc690 Studio Reference listing at $1200

The S8 v2 and the ADP1 surrounds are at least twice the price of the corresponding speakers in the Studio Reference line.

Does anyone own the Signature speakers and do they feel that they are worth twice the price over the Studio Reference?

.....as with most things in high end audio, cost does jump significantly for improvements. I generally expect to have to spend three times the price for a sizable upgrade (my general rule of purchasing anything) so to me twice isn't bad, but only YOU can decide if they are worth the difference to you and your ears. I lived with the Studio 100's for a long time and they are a very good speaker especially for the money. I have spoken to Andrew several times about the S8's and they sound to be a superb speaker but YMMV.

Listen to them both and see what you think.

kennyt is so right. The choice is really up to you. If what you hear is enough for you to justify the price, then you know what decision to make.

Any way you can get a review going on a home theater system consisting of the new Paradigm Signature S8v2, C5v2, ADP1/ADP3, S2v2 and Signature Servo?

I just wonder how that would compare to your excellent review of the Studio Reference home theater system (as well as how it would stack up against the Mythos ST system).

While I would love to try out that system, it seems sort of redundant as we've already covered the S8's, but anything is possible!
