These present a real challenge, as I have to attenuate the amp output by over 10dB on their challenge to get them to balance with my other speakers, but they sure are fun.
That's hot! You can find Lascala's for sale cheap on audiogon. I just missed a pair locally (I had a pair of Heresy's sitting around and thought about building a HT around Lascalas and a heresy at the center but space became a problem so I sold the Heresy's on ebay). That would be one powerful system. I fell in love with the LaScala's when I heard them in Rota Spain - I'll never forget the day - I was listening to "Thunder Rolls" and I'm not a country fan! I was highly impressed. Glad to hear from you!

I have a line on a second pair of K-Horns and a matching Belle that are about the same age as mine, and they are in the local area. I may have to break open the piggy bank - Gonna check them out soon. Stay tuned.

Well, I let that set of K-Horns and a Belle slip away. They were up for auction on eBay and there were several bidders in there bidding against themselves. The "winning" bidder was responsible for 73% of the 70 bids on the set. There was another who who had 24%. The set went for over $4K, more than I was prepared to pay.

I know what you mean! When I bid on ebay - I generally bid my best bid and challange people to beat it. Sometimes it's my second best bid but not far from by best. If you can beat it - more power to you! I'm not one for playing the bidding game. I've actually had bidders at one time tell me to stop bidding so high initially - Hey if you really want it come get it - I know how much I plan to spend. You'll find your right price!

I still have a pair of the original DCM Time Windows and a pair of Dynaco A25s. The Time Windows were in my home theatre until about 3 months ago when I replaced them with a Pair of B&W 685 mainly because they didn't fit the room, they are now in our "library" being run by my old Marantz 1060 and Luxman DZ112 and the Dynas will be going to my daughter as soon as the replacement Morel tweeters arrive. The B&W 685 is an excellent speaker especially when you consider the price.
