Vendors can't get ONE HDMI 1.3 input working right - let alone 6.
I think this spring will see a new generation of receivers and preamps that work with HDMI nicely. Until then - stick with your Dtrovision switchers and other patches as they are the best solution. I personally just scored a DVDO VP50pro to use for my system with HDMI ins.

Dude,
Let me know how you like the VP50 pro, I've been thinking of getting one for my main rig. As for switchers, I am forced to use two right now to get my 6:1 ratio or buy another switcher. Aaaarrrrrggggghhhh!

Thank goodness for the DVDO, and the others like it. Where would we be without them.

I am happy to report that many people are coming out with new receivers and pre/pro's that offer 6:2 switching. Now if they just start producing them in significant quantities that we can al get our hands on them!
