Folks,
Forget about Gefen.......no product support, the tech dept has no clue and they remind me of my cablevision source.....they just don't give a sh--!!!!!!! I'd go with OPPO!!! As a perfect example of HONESTY.....I emailed them with a list of my equipment and asked them "what's next"[for the holidays]. The PROMPTLY emailed me back and said "you have the best [OPPO 971HD] of our equipment compatible with yours." No BS, no selll tactics, just PURE HONESTY......How often do you see that. I will support their equipment "for the duration" |

I've been using one from Siig a maker of computer equipment and works great, also includes a remote.

I would only go with OPPO or Radiient. Both are excellent quality and not expensive.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was leaning toward the Radiient from the research I had done. I am glad to see a forum that actually responds with accurate opinions rather than biassed pitches from manufacturers.
Thanks to everyone. |

kennyt I hear you. In general, which brings up a whole other area, cables, traps, and all these other tweaks cost crazy dollars. Its an area in the high end I have always been very leary about.
