While I enjoyed 28 Days Later I don't think it's a good candidate for HD since it was filmed on consumer grade camcorders which gave it that "real" look, however, I don't think it would translate well to 1080p.

Well, we are going to find out soon enough about your suspicions of 28 Days Later. While not on HD DVD, the film is being released by 20th Century Fox on Blu-ray on October 9th. Oh and of course the sequel 28 Weeks Later will accompany that release on the same day. Great. Can't wait. Can you sense my enthusiasm for these titles?

I'd say the last three season of the Sopranos. Go back and watch the first three seasons and you'll remember how good the show WAS before they became overly obsessed with silly dream sequences.
