Default Looking for a Video File Converter!!!!

Hi People,
We recently were on a tour to some beautiful places and have a video record of this. All my friends are wiling to watch this on a DVD on the big screen but I need to convert the video files into DVD format. Can anyone provide me with a software/site that can make me watch this video with my friends as we wish!!!!

If you use a MAc, you already likely have everything you need in iMovie and iDVD

Ken's correct; however, if you're still on the dark side you might want to check out MyDVD from Roxio - haven't used it personally but I use their Popcorn3 and Toast8 software on our Macs all of the time and they're both superb. Good luck with your transfer.

I am triyng to converted my Mac as a media server, any suggestions about using software to copy DVDs onto the hard drive.
