My point is that BD is now providing everything that HD DVD had, but HD DVD could never have provided everything at BD has. "Can't you see that?"

BD came out before it was ready pure and simple.

By that logic, HD DVD should have waited for production-ready TL51GB disc replication.

I will make an argument here. Benes on avs captures the exact video bit rate on bluray titles. 24 mbps AVC seems to be the magic number. HDDVD is capable of this as well.

You missed the point!!!!! You do not need 40mbps for stellar PQ. All the top tier bluray releases are at 24mbps AVC. Spiderman pick a number, Pirates pick a number, Casino Royale, etc.
