Luis you are killing me. I don't think I ever said hddvd was 45gb. Experimantal stages OK. What is up with your call sign there chief. I was assuming you were in the 2nd Ranger Bn. I was in 1st Bn. so I have some experience in this. I am now SF in the guard. My first thought was you were having some fun prank posting so to speak. I tell you what, you answer some of my questions I asked in the prior post about your military service and I will answer any format question you have. Like for example, give me a definition of "scroll to road?" Any good Ranger would know that. In reality anybody that was ever in the infantry.

Luis,

We are glad you are on the forum. I think the language barrier is causing some people who are somewhat on edge to take you to task.

Let's all take it easy and leave room for people to have their own opinions.

I will say this - I have NO IDEA how you saw DVD in 1988 because I have some pretty inside contacts and I didn't see it until around 1996. HDTV I saw for the first time at the Annerberg School at USC in 1993. It BLEW MY FRAGILE LITTLE MIND at the time.

MultiMedia CD was being tossed around in 1987 so it's possible he saw a very early prototype of what would eventually become DVD.

Everything I have ever read clearly states MMCD was not even on the drawing boards till the early 1990's. I find it highly unlikely a MMCD prototype was at the 1988 CES show. It wasn't even finalized till 95.
