Warner & Fox don't own MGM. MGM had a distribution deal with Warner and now with FOX for their catalog. Sony does own 20% of MGM.

It's going to happen. The real question is:

Does Universal announce BD support tomorrow?

If so it's all over.

If not then they're waiting it out. Will HD-DVD be able to do enough to survive before the 3rd Studio?
Lotus is New Line one of the studios you were referencing?

How do you expect me to respond?

I obviously can't. Because if it was that would be me breaking my word. If it isn't I can't say because then people will start thinking it was another Studio.

There are 3 Studios and as far as I know they're still all in talks.

Lotus, is this 3 studios besides Paramount, Dreamworks and Universal? I guess I only expected 1 or at best 2 outside of those currently in the hddvd prg. If they swing that it could be 5 potential studios in all combining Paramount and Dreamworks unless I am misunderstanding.

Lol, we're just trying to get ANY kind of good news going right now, because as of late it's been a barrage of bad news.

Much to the same that you and the collective rest of the blu camp continually ignore the basic query to provide proof that they are not.
It's not incumbant upon anyone to prove that something unproven and undemonstrated does *not* exist. A white paper is a list of agreed upon specs. It is not a product in production.

It's incumbant upon a group claiming that something *does* exist and is ready for replication to provide accountability that it is.

This is the manner in which products have always been verified. HD DVD and BD zealotry, on either side, don't change this paradigm.

See my example about the "readiness" of 100GB BD replication.
