Please, give me a break. I'm one of the most easy going people you'll ever meet. I'm tired of listening to the constant GARBAGE that comes out of the mouth of your bretheren. Maybe you have never slandered an HD DVD supporter personally, but by defending those who do, it says alot about your character.

Well Jerry, I know you probably can’t and won’t comment, but I’m going to venture a guess, based on some recent news.

Perhaps Microsoft is going forward with an HD DVD enabled Xbox to replace the Elite SKU?

It was said that Microsoft cut 20 minutes out of their CES presentation that were going to focus on HD DVD, I don’t know if this is true, but there were certainly plenty of rumors regarding an Xbox HD DVD SKU. Just this week, there are two stories that lend some credence to a new Xbox SKU:

A) It seems the current “Elite” SKU is getting harder to find, perhaps it’s being replaced?

In my opinion, this would be absolutely huge for HD DVD. Toshiba has been able to keep up in standalone sales and notebooks, but they have never had an answer to the PS3. This would mean thousands of new HD DVD owners every week and I’m sure it would perk up the ears of a few studio as well. I really hope they do it!

Be careful kkozma he's either A.not going to reply back to you or B. Reply back to you to get the last word in and then say he's done talking to you. He's a real treat.

He's already been called out for posting his opinions as facts by me and in the end it turned into a semantics showdown that he tried to end by getting the last word in and then saying he's done. It's something my 10 year old niece likes to do.

This is a nice site with good people on it. It does get old with the likes of akbungle and David coming on here posting in the HD DVD section just to stir the pot.

IMO, I believe the likes of the TL51 disc being ready to be true as well. Will it help...I'm not sure. I think studio support is the biggest thing needed.

This is interesting. The problem I see is "price". How much is this new Elite going to cost?

That accompanied with it only being available in the Elite model may hurt also. I don't think it would have that profound of an effect limited to the Elite SKU.
