The Matrix Trilogy on HD DVD
IS FRIGGIN' SWEET! If you own a second gen HD DVD player with Dolby TrueHD capability you must buy these disks. They are amazing. The image and sound quality is second to none and well worth the box set price. This is what HD is all about. AWESOME!

The weird thing about them is they are spectacular looking but the Warner Bros. logo and the Village Roadshow Pictures logo at the beginning of each of the three movies flickers and looks bad. The rest of the films are all amazing looking. The 2nd and 3rd movies are less heavy on the green overtones of the original film.

I got the Ultimate (4 disc set). The added disc has all the animatrix stuff as well as never before seen docs on the making of. basically the 4 disc set has everything ever released about the matrix within it. It's only $10 more for the 4 disc set so might as well buy the full deal.

That's the one I bought as well.. Should be here in a few days, can't wait to see it in true 1080p..... I hate to say it, but since I went there, I hate watching in anything less...

The Ultimate is actually supposed to be 10 discs (5 double sided - HD DVD on one side, DVD on the other)
