Redeeming Free HD-DVDs
 

I purchased a Toshiba HD-XA2 last week and am very happy with it. Alas, it did not come with any free HD-DVDs. I downloaded the redemption form for five free HD-DVD for players purchased between 10/01/01 and 02/28/08 and frankly the choices are underwhelming to say the least. Are there different versions of the form or should I just a) pick five and sell them on eBay for whatever I can get or b) wait around and see if another redemption form with a better selection pops up?

Nope, there's only one form, and yes the movies aren't that great.

The XA2 is a great player, enjoy it!

Complain to the dealer who sold it to you.

I noticed the movie selections were not very good either.
Did you ever receive your free movies?
I think I have been waiting now for over 6 weeks.
If anyone else has received theirs, how long did it take?

I got my HD DVD's pretty quickly but I was early on in the offer. It took forever to get my Blu-ray films. Keep waiting, they had a huge # of people take advantage of this offer and are likely short of supply.... FWIW I would rather wait than get the films I didn't want (I can't remember what I ordered from either but am pretty sure I didn't pick one or two of them!)
