Check out the chair in this NYC modern apartment. Its a crazy fabric (looks like a Pucci scarf) but it works in the room. Really rounded lines.
http://www.modernhometheater.com/vir...ome/slideshow/ Also check out the Roy Lichtenstein "Reverie" litho hidden in the background. Those are selling at auction for close to $100,000 and I want one. Anybody loaning money these days? What do you think about this chair?

Not a huge fan of the chair although I will say it does work in the room. I've always preferred Eames' line of furniture or Le Corbusier (yes, comfort comes second to esthetics in some cases). My ideal screening/listening enviorment would consist of a single Eames lounge chair in the sweet spot with Case Study or Corbusier sofas in the rear. However, my Room and Board metro sofa is modern looking (clean, squarish lines) but comfortable as all get up. It also works well with Eames and Corbusier furniture as accents.

Eames and Le Corbusier are about as classic as they come.
I like the Ox Chair from Modernica. Very cool. Like a new-school Eames lounger.

I am not sure the specific source of the chair but our here in LA you would look to the Pacific Design Center for starters.
