I am seeing an increasing trend of performance oriented racks.
Some POO-POO middle atlantic type racks as too flimsy and the cause of too much noise, distortion. Others have nice shelves that go into the industry standard racks. For audiophile systems, I can ABSOLUTELY see using a MEAN rack with all of the goodies. The last thing you want in an audiophile system is vibrations that could throw your sound off with needless jitter etc... How much would you spend on an audiophile grade rack? Would you invest in performance oriented rack shelves for your more traditional Middle Atlantic rack?

I don't really consider Middle Atlantic to be a high end rack, more a rack of convenience allowing gear to be stored out of the way, so I doubt I would spend more on upgraded shelves for it, but if I did have one, I likely would.
How much would I spend on a good rack? You already know that! Yes, I have a shopping problem but my gear is so solidly sitting on the baddest a$$ rack you've seen!

Sorry, I'll try it again....
This is kind of a PITS as the new Intel Macs don't run older, maybe any Photshop Elements so I have to compress them in multiple steps.... Oh and I had to rotate it or really compress it, I suspect you can unrotate it on your viewer. There is one more shelf up top with the cable box and PS3 on it, and the HPA 2 is below the PurePower regenerator.
