That is an excellent point you made. Yes, the CD side is very good on its own. Even if I buy a Telarc for a gift, to someone who does not have a sacd or universal player, I`ll buy the sacd/hybrid disc anyway.

Nobody in the music business listens to me. My Dad - possibly as he is a consultant now after leaving USC. He worked with Universal and WEA when at USC to help them see the future in terms of new media. I still don't think they see Blu-ray as an EASY target.

A great question? But Jerry, could it be that Blu-Ray is a video product?? I and you know the potential of audio on Blu-Ray, but Telarc, to my knowledge, has not entered ever into the video arena. Only audio cds. They may view Blu-Ray as more of a video product.
