Keb' Mo'

You gotta love a guy with two ' in his name as well as someone who has an album recorded this well.

The strategy for SACD was to woo Baby Boomers back to the stores to buy their old records again. While there is merrit to that idea - newer recordings like Just Like You highlight the potential of the format and why a consumer might want to invest in an SACD player based system.

This is ONE fantastic sounding record!!!!!

Re: Keb' Mo'
Keb' Mo' is excellent, he comes to Tampa almost every year and plays this old art deco theater, we always go see him. Having trained in St Louis and seeing the likes of John Lee Hooker literally carried to the stage (too drunk to walk) and play incredible blues for hours on end (as long as the liquor kept coming!) I have a hard time with some of Keb's themes, like the bluse song about the internet??? I don't know about that one, so I kind of laugh it off, he's a great musician though. Kind of a modern blues man for the yuppies.

He also has a great performance and 5.1 mix of "Just Like You" on the Sessions At West 54th DVD Volume 1. Those two DVDs are must haves.
