Without Alan there would be no DVD.

Give the man respect. Don't assume because he helped with HD DVD he is going to be a "shill," like you claim. The man is honest and thanks to him we didn't have a format war in 97.

He is one of the most respected members of the industry. To even imply he would lie because he helped with certain aspects of HD DVD is uncalled for.

I got that bit from Richard at Panasonic Hollywood Labs.
Really, I didn't know Richard would go on record with a statement like this.

Number 1 DVD retailer, which is as irrelevant as comparing current HDM sales to current DVD sales.

Do I really need to start each post with "When it comes to HDM" or is that rhetoric not needed?

Next.

WOW! I didn't know he was Sir Howard! People better treat him with the respect he deserves!
Yes I'm sure you didn't know what I meant.

(first online with the info - surely that much was obvious)
