You continue to post misinformation such as this sentence "I now see why you have been banned from forums in the past."
Which "forums" do you speak of? Remember, forums is a plural word.
As for data, I use that which is most current, do you have something else to show differently?

The 243,000 is Nielsen/Videscan numbers, they reported 89,000 for Transformers on HD DVD.

WOW, JUST WOW!!!!! You are the definition BIAS!! I can't believe you would compare the Nielsen numbers for one title with the studio's press release figures for another!!! LOL!!! You are a riot!

Unbelievable.
Nielsen = 60% of sales

This rumor happened because the first week they tried that was their success rate.

They very quickly raised it into the 30s. I hear they're around 66% to 70% now.

I got that bit from Richard at Panasonic Hollywood Labs.

There is no doubt that Sony's PR department has lied about their yields. I think the problem is that the people that announced the new numbers didn't know that someone lied about the old ones.

The fact remains HD DVD remains in the high 90s while BD50s aren't even in the 80s yet. Throwing 1 out of 20 out vs 1 out of 4 or 5.

Oh you mean Alan Bell who was formerly employed in the HD DVD-development field at Warner? That Alan Bell?

No, Nielsen = 60% of retailers, including the two largest ones.

The fact that anyone might suggest that the buying habits represented by the top 2 HDM retailers would not also be represented by the other retailers would be an insult to anyone's logic.

I think you may have he and Paidgeek confused and I believe a lot of his info such as MiB comes from Paidgeek or his contacts with the various restoration/encoding centres.

So Pentonman was the first to know that Viacom dropped BD?

WOW! I didn't know he was Sir Howard! People better treat him with the respect he deserves!

Ok so Disney, Warners, and FOX say Wal-Mart is the number 1 retailer.

Who do you think it is?
