Because it was bad news. Have you ever worked in Hollywood?

If I'm trying to get a movie together and the Studio is negotiating with me and another production company. If I lose I'm generally told the details of why by the friendly contacts at the Studio.

So that is why when WB makes their choice he'll know.

Please stop right there - this constant usage of a DISC REVIEWER who claims to have "insider status" with Cinram, Panasonic and Deluxe is flat out ridiculous.

Dave Vaughn is not an insider. He has never shown to be anything other than a disc reviewer turned HD DVD-shill.

The reason Sony would never admit that BD50 yields at a place like PDMC, the biggest provider currently of BD50-R media as it happens, are at 10% is because it's a completely false statement and there is ZERO evidence to the contrary.

Sorry, Dave Vaughn is not a disc replication insider and that article which announces him like the second coming of Christ is amusing, but lacks any sense of journalistic skils on Shane's part.

Yes, but it is not tied to HD DVD.

The BD Insiders are claiming that MS said for them to throw in their money this deal had to happen.

Maybe that is true, but it doesn't deliver Warners to HD DVD.

Again Warners has long supported LIVE and done reasonably well there.

At least Warner and Microsoft are talking.
Hope to hear an announcement on the whole thing this week.

Entirely different scenario I'm afraid and still doesn't explain how if he is with Sony Pictures he would be the first to know about Viacom's decision to drop Blu-ray support.

I think you may have he and Paidgeek confused and I believe a lot of his info such as MiB comes from Paidgeek or his contacts with the various restoration/encoding centres.

The biggest selling HDM title is Transformers. I guarantee Transformers will sell more copies then 300 on Bluray giving the same amount of sell time. I love how your data is based on sales 5 days after the release of Transformers LOL!!!!! WOW, JUST WOW!!!!! You are the definition BIAS!! I also like how you base your facts on over 2 month old data which is suppossed to be year to date!!! You are a riot!!! I now see why you have been banned from forums in the past. I have yet to be. I wonder which title as of today has sold more copies in HDM, Bluray 300 or Transformers hddvd even with the over 2.5 month lead of 300 to sell more copies. Especially with 2,700,000 players.
Why don't you show us how many forums you post under this moniker with.
Then google mine and see how many I post with.
You continue to post misinformation such as this sentence "I now see why you have been banned from forums in the past."
Which "forums" do you speak of? Remember, forums is a plural word.
As for data, I use that which is most current, do you have something else to show differently?

The 243,000 is Nielsen/Videscan numbers, they reported 89,000 for Transformers on HD DVD.

WOW, JUST WOW!!!!! You are the definition BIAS!! I can't believe you would compare the Nielsen numbers for one title with the studio's press release figures for another!!! LOL!!! You are a riot!

Unbelievable.
