Where are you hearing this?
MS has way to big an ego to do that, they have been saying from it's release the reason the PS3 was so expensive is because it has a Blu-Ray player & that it was a huge mistake to do that.

I'm no insider but do you think Bill is going to eat his words?
I don't!

Without some massive payoff from Microshiba, Warner is going Blu-ray exclusive.
It does not matter what they do with the 360 now.

Well, "Microshiba" has been known to step up when a studio needs a little more incentive to support HD DVD, so as an HD DVD fan, I feel pretty good with that scenario.

Regarding the internal HD DVD Xbox SKU, I have some credible information that suggests they are going to announce something at CES. If they don’t, then I will post that information here and you can all see why I was so confident. However, just to be clear, I am NOT an insider by any stretch of the imagination.

Saw a commercial for Harry Potter yesterday with the ending “also available in high-def” showing an HD DVD box smack-dab in front of the Blu-ray box. With the latest sales numbers and lingering blu-ray profile issues, I can’t see WB going blu at all. I guess we’ll see in a few days.

You seriously need to get out of never never land. It's not happening no matter what Burns or Dunn say. Rumours started by biased reporters when everyone one of their articles since 2005 has tilted blu has little foundation. Dunn also stated the war was over in the 1st quarter of 2007. 9 months later the very first HDM title hits #1 at amazon which happens to be a hddvd. I especially loved the article on bluray.com that Paramount was favoring bluray weeks before they went hddvd exclusive. HDDVD is easily and I mean easily earning Warner more profits which is what Warner said is all they care about. The very best bluray can hope for is continued neutrality.

Quick question:

Do you see Warner listed, as a presenting member at the 2008 CES for HD DVD?
Where is Blu-rays invitation? Why is HD DVDs presentation 1 day before, and for 2 hours, while Blu-ray is the day after, and only for one hour.

This just a misprint?

No Warner is for sure showing at the HDDVD PRG press conference. This killed bluray fans hopes of a bluray exclusive announcement weeks ago. I still remains to be seen if Warner will be at the bluray press event? I think that in itself is very telling! I am sure if they are the bluboys will be posting a link. I am excited to see if they show!
