I didn't think so. You already cried about your last name being mentioned.
Ya, ya, blah, blah. You're so full of it. What's the bet I won't be here in two months pointing out all of your FUD?

Riddle me this.

What's more likely to happen at CES?
A dual format player announced from a previously Blu-only CE (LG/Samsung notwithstanding) or a dual format player announced from a previously HD DVD-only CE?

Think carefully, it's only 11 days away.
If you're referring to the Onkyo unit.

Big Deal.

It's not like it's Toshiba releasing a Dual Format player!

All the manufacturers don't matter when you're LOSING in player sales by 2:1.

I don't think the HD DVD PRG really care that it's only Toshiba as long as they're winning in hardware sales at the current rate.

Plus Denon does have a Dual Format player in the works too. We likely won't see it until CEDIA.

Wow you found out I didn't work in a certain position, that's rich considering I've posted exactly which division I work at several times on AVS and other forums.

You're such a great detective aren't you?

Actually I was referring to the possibility of Sanyo announcing a dual format player. I'm surprised you didn't know about this one. They've announced their HD DVD player at several shows but never released it...probably because they know that there is no money in HD DVD standalone players.

Okay, to dobyblue and Lotus. Let's keep it friendly. I'm not going to kick anyone off the site yet but please keep it respectful. The number of posts/FUD-ing/whatever you want to call it is irrelevant to the topic at hand. You've both stated your thoughts about whether or not WB could or would abandon HD DVD so let's leave it at that.

Win loose or draw both formats offer exceptional performance to the consumer as well as new found value in their lower prices. I know many of you are hoping for a single format to prevail but I don't think anyone here can single handedly make that happen so let's try and keep it civil.

This goes to everyone out there, if you are, in fact, an "insider" for either format please come clean now. If you are found to be spreading misinformation or working for one side or another you will be BANNED! This is a public forum for enthusiasts by enthusiasts. If you are an industry person with insight to share then by all means please share with the class, but identify yourself as such. But if you are masquerading as a consumer when you are, in fact, not we will find out and you will be removed from AVRevforum.com

Thanks. Happy Holidays everyone.

Sanyo currently still has no plans on releasing disc players of any sort.

That according to Wal-Mart months ago.

Maybe they will finally release players, but I thought they were trying to focus on TVs.
