A little fly told me that HD51 discs will not be shown working on G1 players at CES.

How tragic.

Shilling away, more than ever, more worried than ever, heading into the last year of HD DVD's lifespan.

Soon, people like you will have to disappear and good riddance to that because the internet will be suffering from a lot less total FUD.
Really? Now you're stating that LGF didn't get their subsidization contract too!

You're a laugh riot.

I've got nothing to worry about. I don't work for Toshiba or MicroSoft.

I'm also not an overly obsessed individual who tries to make people think they work for Hollywood Labs when they don't.

Also I know Richard because I met him due to "My Chorus," not because of the internet.

Also I'm sure you know what desist means because I'm sure you've received letters like that before.

Please try and follow the discourse, I'm not here to teach you how to read.

a) I've never said I work for Hollywood Labs
b) I've never said I didn't know what "desist" meant
c) I stated no such thing about LGF - read what you wrote about them, my response was in rebuttal to your second sentence that I quoted
d) I've never received correspondence from anyone about desisting, which is why I still post under the moniker I've used for all online forums since September 2003.
e) What will you say to everyone here in five weeks when none of your predictions pan out?

So you're saying a Studio is switching?

Because I'm saying they aren't.

I'm saying Disney is looking into it and very seriously. I also know that Sony needs to keep Disney exclusive and I'm positive is going to try everything possible to keep things the way they are. Just like they did with LGF. If you don't think LGF leaked their HD DVD thoughts you don't understand business and you certainly don't understand hollywood.

Are you next going to tell me that Universal didn't take tours of BD facilities and look into authoring? Did they do that because they were really planning on jumping or because they wanted some MS/Toshiba advertising money?

It's pure business. The only time one of these companies will jump without being handed a huge stack of money is when it will look bad to their stockholders that they aren't neutral.

The problem is that time is coming for Disney and they know it. Nothing will make bandwidth more important than keeping MONEY happy. Right now Stockholders are starting to pressure Bob. The idea that they may not be releasing to a 1M+ stand alone based market is revolting to them.

If MS does make a HD DVD internal 360 you can bet the push for neutrality will start coming big from stockholders.

Sure, just like how EMI and Warner Music shareholders are up in arms that they're missing out on 13,000,000 standalone SACD players.

Nice try.

So you're comparing a technology that never took off the ground to one that excells in a niche market?

Nice try.

Besides DSotM what title even sold on SACD to warrant anyone to release to it?

For BD & HD DVD you can point to overall sales and attachment rates that are extremely healthy for a niche market.

Also Shareholders got so upset about Warners music doing poorly and not reacting to the death of CD that TW sold it.

Thanks for helping make my point.
