Any Headphones Listeners Here?
After I moved to "smaller quarters" (town house), I sold my system (by weight!) and assembled the best headphones system available.
My, my. How much simpler has my life become. And if you think this kind of system can't be a match for the 800 lb gorilla in the room, you are sorely mistaken... because that is what I sold (maybe more than 800 lbs). Of course your brain needs a "break-in" for a while, but when that happens, I don't think you will want to go back. (At least some of you) Art |

Re: Any Headphones Listeners Here?
If possible I am after a bit of info, I am looking for a way to be able to listen to my TV through a set of head phones ( I have poor hearing) while my wife listens through either the speakers on the the TV, or an external sound system, I have spoken to various staff members at all the large computer and electronic stores and all I get is vacant stares and puzzled looks, we have just purchased an LG led that has that many plugs on the back I don't know were to start, I am sure there must be any easy way to do this but as I am a bit of a ludite when it comes to all things electronic, any help with this problem would be really appreciated.

Re: Any Headphones Listeners Here?
Probably not as simple as you might think. My wife wanted the same thing. On her LG TV it only had an optical audio output. So what I did was to get an optical audio to stereo converter. Then I added a FM transmitter. She uses headphones that have a AM/FM radio in them. The FM transmitter can be tuned to a blank spot on the FM band. Works great plus she has a radio as well.
Parts: Optical to stereo converter: http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Optica...ereo+converter FM transmitter: http://www.amazon.com/0-5-Fail-Safe-...itter+ac+power Hope that helps. |
