What's better Samsung Led c-8000 or Plasma 8 series

I'm going to buy a new TV but can't pick between Samsung LED c-8000 series or the Plasma 8 series both are 3D and the Plasma is cheaper and it's going in a bedroom that get's pretty warm so I'm a little worried about it putting off to much heat but I want to know what you guys think. Thanks

I would go by the power consumed by each. Most likely the LCD will be lower but plasmas have come a long way in reducing power consumption. The plasma will have a better picture generally, assuming you have good light control and watch it mainly in the dark.

about the same for the 35 W Halogen or 40 W fluorescent, much less for the LED. OTOH, the halogen light is limited by what the fixture will tolerate, the LED by the core temperature of the LED, which is pretty low, i.e. in practice, the LED will require a better cooling than the halogen light (unless you've got inflammable stuff in your showcase).
