Our nearest BB (which has an embedded Magnolia department) is definitely one of the smaller "B" formats but they've got a pretty good selection of Blu-ray discs; however, like others here, I'm not fond of paying full retail for my discs and get most of mine at Amazon as well. Unfortunately our nearest Blockbuster isn't yet on the list to be getting Blu-ray.

MoosePond,
I am a victim of the tech age, I can get on line at Amazon and find every movie I could want for less than I can buy it at a store, when I order it it is here in two days.... Unless I need/really want something for a review, I buy it from them and wait.

I bought every one of my DVD's (350+) at BB, the week new releases came out they were $15 after that $19 so I bought most of them when they came out, they don't do this with Blu-Ray movies & the price difference is anywhere from $5 to $10!
Now I may spend a couple of bucks more to watch it the day it comes out I won't pay $10 more!! I have bought less than 10 Blu-Ray movies from BB or CC & only when they had them on the $17.99 sale, all the rest of my movies are from Amazon now. |

FWIW that is what my average Amazon movies cost now, and I haven't bought an SD DVD for over a year now....

Do you have an Amazon card or something? Most of my Blu-Ray movies at Amazon are $23.99. |

I have an Amazon CC that gives me $25 GC for some amount of use..
If you bought three (not sure if it still holds) HD Discs at once you got all HD discs for 10% off for a year and I think I am still in that deal. This often makes my BD's cost <$20.
