I for one like the idea of choice, especially from a rental company, they should not be the one to decide which format should prevail.
I agree, I`m not saying BB should make a choice. I was not aware of the HD DVD titles available on line. Likewise, maybe, the new Samsung combo player, can put all this CHOICE, to rest.

I'm not sure if a combo-player will resolve the confusion about which format to support.

Sharp has also just announced an upcoming Blu-ray recorder with a 1-terabyte hard disk drive (HDD), capable of recording 127 hours of digital high-definition programs.

And Microsoft's Halo 3 first-day sales of over $170 million, easily surpassed Spiderman 3, and is gonna fuel a lot more support for X-Box 360.

Movies... video games... HD recording... this format war might have "just begun to fight."

agree completely . . . I'm betting we'll still be seeing posts on this subject a year from now and, probably, two years from now . . . both camps are in this for the long-haul and I don't see either giving up without a fight to the death; however, as was posted here earlier, the porn camp will be weighing in with their massive multi-billion $ market and they were absolutely the straw that broke the camel's back in the Beta/V-HS war. Stay tuned . . .

I don't think porn will be as big of a player this time, there is too much free porn on the internet & they are already making them in HD-DVD & BD.

Besides do we really want to see Ron Jeremy in HD?
